This beautiful scarf was woven by a women's weaving cooperative in San Antonio Palopo, San Antonio is a lovely little town that sits on the banks of the incredible Lago Atitlan. The women work together to market their weavings. Through their work they hope to improve their lives as well as those of their children.
Indigo was used to color this incredible design. The rayon thread was dyed by being hand tied before it was woven. The labor intensive process gives this amazing piece a true artisan appeal.
The scarf measures 18 x 66 inches.
