This beautiful pillow was hand crafted using Guatemalan fabric that was hand woven on a treadle loom in the highlands of Guatemala. In order to make the jaspe (ikat) the thread is first hand tied and then dyed. After that, an expert weaver used the design dyed into the fabric to create this labor intensive fabric. The resulting fabric has the unique characteristics that only a hand woven fabric can have.
The pillow measures 20 x 12. It has an envelope enclosure on the back that hides the zipper. The back of the pillow is also hand woven Guatemalan fabric.
Please note that the pillow form is not included.
