Tamahú Huipil Christmas Stocking
Tamahú Huipil Christmas Stocking
The magic of Christmas and hand woven Guatemala fabric combine to bring you this beautiful stocking for your mantle. Just imagine this stocking hung on your mantle anxiously awaiting for the jolly old elf to fill it.
The stocking is made from a hand woven huipil from the town of Tamahú in Guatemala. It hard to see in the pictures, but there are Mayan symbols that look a lot like snow flakes woven into the fabric. There are also deer that really resemble reindeer. It is a truly beautiful brocade stocking.
It measures 14-inches from the top to the heel. There's plenty more room to add gifts and candy into the toe.
